The Boston Terrier is a friendly and lively dog. Boston Terrier puppies are so adorable, fat and spunky, ready to play and give their love to their family. They are also fun to dress up, with hat's and neckties.  Boston's are fun for children and good with them.

The Boston Terrier is charming and highly intelligent, they make a wonderful family companion. Boston's are ideal with other pets and children and they are an excellent watchdog. The Boston's alertness makes it fun and easy to train.  The Boston Terrier is truly an American breed.

Being developed in this country from the Bulldog and the English Terrier, it was first recognized by the Kennel Club in 1893. At one time this was one of the most popular breeds in the United States.

The Boston's size makes it adaptable to any living environment, and Boston's are clean of habit and easy to maintain. It's coat is smooth, short, fine textured and shiny, needing only a weekly brushing. The Boston is a long-lived, affectionate breed whose exercise needs are minimal.  A short daily walk and plenty of indoor playtime will keep the Boston in fine shape.
